Samantha Lanning
Senior Vice President

Recruitment is an important part of our chapter that allows us to grow and continue in the future as a strong organization at Miami.  We pride ourselves on recruiting the best business students through several nights of getting to know prospective new members. We would love for you to get to know us and see what we are all about by attending one of our information sessions or by contacting me directly at lanninsa@muohio.edu.

Jenny Lucas
Vice President of Pledge Education

As Vice President for Pledge Education, I am in charge of guiding pledges through the pledge program. It is an extremely rewarding experience because I witness firsthand new pledges starting their journey not only in their career, but in their discovery of brotherhood and what it truly means. Delta Sigma Pi has defined my college career, and I love helping it do the same for others. Please contact me if you have any questions about the pledge program or Delta Sigma Pi in general at lucasjb2@muohio.edu!

Kyle Davis
Vice President of Finance

As Vice President of Finance, I am responsible for keeping track of the chapter’s incoming and outgoing funds.  This involves collecting dues, creating a budget, and making sure that Delta Sigma Pi is in good standing with all financial institutions.  It is my job to ensure that each member is spending funds in a fiscally responsible way as well as in line with our chapter’s values and goals.  Delta Sigma Pi has created numerous opportunities for every member including myself, and I feel extremely lucky to hold this position and give back to such an amazing organization.

Averie Kenney
Secretary

Hello! As Secretary and an active brother of Delta Sigma Pi I am proud to be associated with such a developed and driven group of individuals.  From the four pillars upon which we are based, our chapter succeeds professionally, fraternally, socially and through service. Our fraternity serves as network for each other as we prepare for our transitions into the business world. Each brother holds his or her personal experiences from internships, classes and lessons to share with the fraternity. We strive to push each other to the best of our abilities because we genuinely wish to see our brothers do well. Undoubtedly, it is the bond we develop on both a professional and social level that shapes our college experience in to something unrivaled. The memories I have made and life lessons I have learned from my brothers are ones that I will remember for many years to come.

David Tracy
Chancellor

As chancellor I am responsible for presiding over all chapter meetings and trials, and ensuring that any violations of the Bylaws within the chapter are reported to the Central Office. One of my main responsibilities is to make sure chapter meetings are conducted in a timely fashion, and all officer reports are relevant.  In addition I am in charge of maintaining order during meetings so the chapter can handle all matters on the agenda without interruption or distraction.  I am proud to hold this position in Delta Sigma Pi and look forward to giving back to the chapter that has provided me with so much opportunity to grow.

Patrick Watkins
VP Professional

The Alpha Upsilon Professional program is designed to prepare the Miami University Deltasig brothers to be the most qualified individuals in their respective fields as they enter the job market.  Among the inter-chapter events hosted are resume, networking, and interviewing workshops as well as guest speakers, mentoring programs, and etiquette dinners.  It is also the job of the VP of Professional Development to plan a business-focused, brotherhood-oriented trip to different city each Fall semester.

Colleen Leimkuehler
VP Fundraising

Fundraising is a crucial part of Delta Sigma Pi and gives us the opportunity to fund events to better ourselves individually and as a chapter, without having unreasonable costs for our members. Through fundraising, we are able to cultivate positive relationships with faculty and local businesses and gain real-world business experience. Although fundraising is a vital aspect to financing our chapter’s activities, it is also a way for the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi to bond and work together towards a common goal. Fundraising events are an excellent combination of brotherhood and business experience that it cannot be beat!

Matthew Figas
VP Service

It is the responsibility of the Vice President of Service Activities to coordinate any service event the fraternity participates in within the community. Some examples of these service activities include Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, working at animal shelters, coordinating donation drives, and planning/fundraising for the Michael Hayes Scholarship Fund’s Annual 5K Run/Walk. Participating in such service events is one of the ways which Delta Sigma Pi gives back and stays connected with the Oxford community. Deltasig is committed to helping not only its own members, but all those within the community as well.

Steve Thomas
Social

Social events are an exciting way to encourage brotherhood and bonding within the fraternity in a more casual setting.  Events like theme parties, holiday celebrations, and spontaneous get-togethers are what truly mold our brothers into the very close friends that we are.  This semester I am thrilled to be planning big events like Parents Weekend and our annual Formal, along with various other parties.  I hope to see everyone at our amazing events!

Kimberly Turk
VP Chapter Operations

As Vice President of Chapter Operations, I am responsible for ensuring our chapter is meeting all of the national requirements and submitting the necessary documentation in a timely manner. In order to do this, I need to keep communication with the executive board as well as the Central Office. Being in Delta Sig has helped me develop these communication skills, and it is a great opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

Hannah Bambrick
Historian

As the Historian of Delta Sigma Pi, it is my duty to apply for awards so that our chapter as a whole receives the national recognition deserved. It is also my responsibility to promote academic excellence through creative award systems that further motivate individual members to do strive for success. Delta Sigma Pi is an organization that allows students with similar interests to push each other to be their best.

Charles Eckert
VP Alumni

As Vice President of Alumni Relations, it is my responsibility to network with our Brothers of the past. These relationships not only lead an enhanced chapter here at Miami, but they also help current members with interview advice, career opportunities, and much more. Delta Sigma Pi is an amazing organization and I am sure that even after graduation, no Brother will stop in his or her quest to better this top-notch organization and its members.

Allison Dorough
Director of Marketing

As Direct of Marketing I am in charge of facilitating all of the promotional elements for Delta Sigma Pi across Miami’s campus. I couldn’t imagine being more passionate about a position because I get to combine my love of Marketing with my love for my brothers in Delta Sigma Pi. I hope you enjoy seeing my marketing efforts around campus, please contact me with any questions at dorougap@muohio.edu

Daniel Nicolopolous
Brotherhood Chair

As Brotherhood Chair I organize several events throughout the semester, such as intramural sports and the Farmer’s Cup competition, to strengthen the bond between the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi.  It is this strong brotherhood among our chapter that makes Delta Sigma Pi different from other business fraternities.

Dustin Schmidt
Director of Technology

As Director of Technology I am responsible for not only keeping the website up to date, but facilitating its use for the chapter and bringing technological innovation and progress to the fraternity.  I have made my best friends at Miami University through Delta Sigma Pi.  It is filled with fun and talented people who work together to better our fraternity and in turn tremendously better themselves.
