Welcome to the offical webiste for the Third Annual Hayes' Race! Hayes’ Race was established as an annual event in honor of Michael Hayes, a 2004 graduate of Miami University who lost his battle to Crohn’s Disease and small bowel cancer just six months after graduation. Before passing, Mike established the Michael Hayes Scholarship Fund in order to assist Miami students battling life-threatening illnesses. The fund provides these students with daily services that help them continue their education here at Miami for as long as they are able. This Scholarship, like all others, requires ongoing funding for its success. All proceeds of the race are contributed to Mike’s Fund. Hayes' Race is Sunday, April 27th, 2008. The race starts promptly at 11 AM behind Bachelor Hall at Miami Univeristy, registration is 9 AM - 10:30 AM.
